Oscar of Tir na nOg[edit]

The main Oscar of the article died of battle injury at Cath Gabhra ("Battle of Gabbhra"), stanza 2 [1]. He cant be the same as the Oscar born in Tir na nOg between Oisín and Niamh (mythology), stanzas 100–102.https://books.google.com/books?id=7FTLK8RQ2RgC&pg=PA35]. (Poem attributed to Mícheál Coimín).

One commentator belives the battle preceded Oisin going to Tir na nOg,[2] but usually, the commentator just says that Oisin missed the battle on a deer chase when he met Niamh.[3] --Kiyoweap (talk) 05:38, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
