Quebec occurrence[edit]

@Apokryltaros:Lespérance reported Orphanaspis of indet. species from White Head Formation of Quebec back in '68 maybe that's out of date? Abyssal (talk) 03:45, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

P. J. Lespérance. 1968. Ordovician and Silurian trilobite faunas of the White Head Formation, Percé Region, Québec. Journal of Paleontology 42(3):811-826 Abyssal (talk) 03:45, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe, probably the definitive source to look would be this book Early Silurian Trilobites of Anticosti Island, Québec, Canada, but I don't currently have 109 Canadian dollars handy at the moment.--Mr Fink (talk) 03:53, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Apokryltaros:The corresponding paleobiology database entry says that the collection reported in Lespérance 1968 was Ordovician, so those Canadollars might end up going to waste anyway. But the abstract reports that Silurian fossils are indeed found in the formation, so who knows. This shit's complicated. Abyssal (talk) 04:00, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
