Origin of the Name[edit]

The band's own website says that their name was inspired by the city of New Orleans, so I removed the claim here (and on pages of individual members) saying specifically that it was not. The first line of their bio says: "The band's name was inspired by the legendary City of New Orleans." [1] Anson2995 17:26, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Leinbach?[edit]

If I'm not mistaken, Leinbach was a member of the band for several years. I knew him personally, he was my music teacher for a couple years, and there are several sources online- he's even on the cover of one of their albums (he's completely bald). Is there some reason he's not on here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.152.191.3 (talk) 20:54, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article reads like a fan page.[edit]

This is not an encyclopedia article. It's a fan page, and a monotonous one at that. It drones on and on and on. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. By the way, if you're going to mention that Hall is a congressman, wouldn't it be smart to mention what congressional DISTRICT he represents? That might be a little bit over your head, but it's information that's relevent to the article and to anything pertaining to Hall. 74.72.219.16 (talk) 15:32, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. You can mention what the band has done but you don't need to make the whole thing some dramatic retelling of the entire history of the band and their struggles. This isn't a movie. LeviEdits (talk) 07:09, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of references/citations[edit]

I am surprised that this article made it to "publication" with only one reference and no inline citations. This seems to be inconsistent with the standards that Wikipedia holds to. Should something be done with this article until appropriate references are identified? Thoughts?THX1136 (talk) 20:34, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
