Wow - So many project assessments/assessors; so few actual contributors[edit]

As the original creator of this article, I'm impressed that so many Wiki projects I've never heard of have laid claim to it, and decided to assess it. In fact this claiming and assessing process has involved more editors that the construction of the article itself. In one way I'm happy that somebody is taking notice. But I cannot help wondering if a lot of the effort that seems to be going into claiming articles for projects, and then assessing them, would not be better expended on actually improving the articles. -- Chris j wood 13:26, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think you completely misunderstand the purpose of these tags. They are not to "claim" anything, but rather to point people to them, so that articles on various subjects can be brought up to standard...--MacRusgail (talk) 20:38, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
