General comments[edit]

This is a very thorough article, lots of excellent detail. I made a number of small edits, but I think it would be best to split off a List of members of the Oregon Territorial Legislature. This would let the prose of this article flow more evenly, and allow for a more consistent method of wikilinking. Thoughts? -Pete (talk) 16:52, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I created that list, to illustrate my point, but have not deleted anything here, pending discussion. -Pete (talk) 19:02, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That looks good. Should we have "see also" at each year's section then from the main article piped to the specific year on the list for ease of navigation? Aboutmovies (talk) 21:04, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'd think that a prominent link at the top of the "sessions" section would be enough, but I don't have a problem with additional links if you think they're needed. I'll whack away! -Pete (talk) 21:36, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Counties of later Washington[edit]

In discussions of counties formed, the early years are missing counties that later joined Washington Territory. For example, Thurston County was formed on January 12, 1852; and Pierce, King, Island and Jefferson Counties were split from Thurston in December 1852.
