"Chief of Infantry"?[edit]

Is there a position in the US Army called "Chief of Infantry"? I've not heard of it. MayerG (talk) 02:28, 27 June 2011 (UTC) Yes, there is; he's based at Fort Benning, Ga.: http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/2011/06/08/1610496/chief-of-infantry-bids-farewell.html MayerG (talk) 02:48, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notable[edit]

There have been less than 20 recipients for the metal, apparently this number is at the highest level of it, because the base article points to a lot more. I included John Russell in the photo gallery because apparently he received the top version of it (1 of 14) at the date of the article.

This article says there are 14, but the category has 17. Did the three receive them after the article? British Army Maj. John Russell from Chalford, Gloucestershire, England, awarded Order of Saint Maurice for contributions to infantry. (2008)

General Minihan, USAF is not listed as a recipient but his wiki bio states he was a recipient[edit]

He should be added to the recipient list if verified to be a recipient 2600:1011:B1CE:A549:A831:6B84:42AD:D3CE (talk) 06:39, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
