I've removed text, posted 22 July by someone at IP address 68.214.75.112:

"There is an area just outside the city limits called fleming island. Also Known as the island where there are rich white people and a few poor white people that are gangster as hell."

It is under the wrong section heading and is irrelevant. - Square pear 02:47, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good. The statement is false in that Fleming Island is within the city limits. The rest of his statement was is true. Gopherdabills 21:53, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fleming Island is not within the city limits of Orange Park. Orange Park stops at Doctors Lake Bridge (Highway 17). Fleming Island is to the south and OP is to the north. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.220.40.14 (talk) 12:35, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

This article has been vandalized several times. I just removed a line suggesting that a supermodel was born at the Primate center:

"Supermodel Michelle Buswell, was born here in 1983"

On an amusing note, the vandal failed to realize that the primate center was moved to Goergia prior to this date.Lisapollison 14:52, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics[edit]

Problem with the population figure. Says the population has declined by 7% between 2010 and 2010. Supposed to be 2000? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.35.98.113 (talk) 13:23, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

 Done Thanks for catching that! Aristophanes68 (talk) 20:54, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Town Government[edit]

I am not certain who is in charge of the page editing but here is a bit of information. Scott Land is now Mayor of Orange Park, not Eugene Nix. Mr. Nix was voted out of office in April of 2017 and replaced by Alan Watt.

Below is the link to the Town of Orange Park website with the correct information. http://www.townoforangepark.com/town-government/town-council/

The council annually changes mayor by order of election or appointment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aristotle2017 (talkcontribs) 12:50, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Tortoise killing[edit]

Should we at all mention that two teenage girls from this town had brutally killed a tortoise and recorded it and uploaded it to Facebook and YouTube? I we can source the information that is. NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 23:20, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
