Untitled[edit]

The location of the Crossbow site has been of interest to me for some time. I've previously emailed Eglin AFB PAO but never got GPS coords. An Library of Congress reference mentions Site C-80B and C-52N, at http://www.loc.gov/pictures/item/fl0805/ . Could be an interesting way to close out this stub if any of our DC-based Wikiers could request the originals from LOC and upload them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Winsettz (talkcontribs) 00:03, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Following up:

This Eglin PDF shows a pixelated map of sorts on one of the slides: https://www.eglin.af.mil/Portals/56/documents/history/AFD-141104-075.pdf A more up to date map is : http://eglinguideonline.com/range/RECMAP2019-08-16T07:16:02.pdf ; the main page of which is https://eglin.isportsman.net/Maps.aspx ; intended to define access to parts of Eglin for public visitation (the above is the PAM). I presume C-80B and C-52N in the latter are the same as they were in WW2, but you never know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Winsettz (talkcontribs) 21:57, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
