Free Masons[edit]

This may not be about the article itself but does anyone know why the symbol for the Free Masons is included in the symbol of this mission? That may be something worth looking at.

I'm also curious to know why the square and compass would appear on the seal.

That image is from a private collection. The badge depicted was created by a Freemason in Ontario, and was to be presented to brethren serving in the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan by their fellow lodge members. It is not an official Canadian Forces badge or pin.

Current Forces[edit]

Isn't Operation Athena the 2003 deployment only, or does it also refer to the actual deployment in the Kandahar region? Shouldn't all that is listed under "Current Forces" be in another article? 70.52.47.240 (talk) 13:48, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No References?[edit]

Unless I'm completely mistaken, I don't believe there's a single citation in this article. The external links are also dead, except the CBC link. However, Operation Athena is not mentioned at all in that news post either so that link is useless for this article.Fallenangei (talk) 02:26, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Planned additions[edit]

I am planning a number of notes on this article that I have translated from the French version of the article. Here is the link to my sandbox: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Shaggy_Malka/sandbox I plan on uploading them in 3 weeks, let me know if something needs to be fixed before I do so! As Shaggy Malka did not come back, I have made his version live, with minor changes to formatting and updated templates & categories. – Fayenatic London 09:30, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
