Which party?[edit]

It's unclear from the article which party was in control during the single-party period. If it does not have a name, that should be explained. This information should also be added to History of the Republic of Turkey. -- Beland 01:45, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Para on Opposition[edit]

There is a problem here when talking about the Sheikh Said Rebellion. Suddenly the para starts talking of a "Piran" without saying who this is. At first I thought it was referring to an author but then concluded it was as if someone had searched and replaced Sheikh Said for some sentences with Piran. Piran doesn't seem to have any meaning in Kurdish. I don't know enough about this period to really work out what has gone wrong but something certainly has. Anyone able to sort out?
