Comment[edit]

Do we know anything about him next to he was in the case? --IAMTHEEGGMAN Temp Sig.

He was a reverend and he apparently worked for the railroad. I have found several sources saying he worked for the railroad, but not one I found respectable enough to add. I haven't found much more yet, but there are interview of his daughters online so that'd be something.--T. Anthony (talk) 04:00, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New title[edit]

This article needs a new title. Oliver Brown is not a civil rights. Oliver Brown is a civil rights advocate, historic figure, or something, but he is not a civil rights. Anomalocaris (talk) 18:14, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: moved to Oliver Brown (American activist). Supervoting a bit, but this needs to be resolved and I note one the people listed on the Oliver Brown dab page has a middle name beginning with "L". Jenks24 (talk) 16:45, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oliver Brown (civil rights) → ? – Either Oliver L. Brown or Oliver Brown (NAACP) or Oliver Brown (American activist) or Oliver Brown (plaintiff). Besides being notable for Brown v. Board of Education, he was also an NAACP member. George Ho (talk) 07:23, 11 August 2015 (UTC) --Relisted.
