The structuring of the plot section is awkward and not in line with other plot/synopsis sections on wiki. Also there should be mention that the early part of the book was the basis for There Will Be Blood, since that's probably the most notable thing about the book. 66.167.233.60 (talk) 02:16, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Third person narrative"[edit]

Is there something special about it being a third person narrative ? Aren't most novels like that, actually ? -- Beardo (talk) 01:52, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Critical/Public Reception"[edit]

Aside from a glancing remark about the book being a best-seller, there are no mentions of how the book was received--either by critics or the masses.

Street names[edit]

Regarding "Telegraph Road would be the last street crossed before getting off the highway onto Beach Blvd in the town of Buena Park to travel south to Huntington Beach", a check at http://historicalmaps.arcgis.com/usgs/ shows that this street was not named Beach Boulevard until much later.
