Since this is an article about actual nutcrackers, I'm removing the links to the Nutcracker ballet. Sttaylor (talk) 17:10, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Should a disambiguation page not be created for people looking for the ballet (and any films, television specials, etc...)?Cebr1979 (talk) 23:36, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How about a section on the inherent creepiness of a wooden man that stares at you with dead eyes, constantly baring his disproportionately large teeth, and using them to crush with ease what you yourself struggle to crack? Just saying. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.98.35 (talk) 18:37, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with crab/lobster cracker[edit]

The utensil used for cracking crab and lobster shells is identical to one type of nutcracker, and the current crab cracker article says nothing substantive. Merge? --Macrakis (talk) 18:58, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What will be the title then if we were to merge it? PyroFloe (talk) 13:38, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter. Probably Nutcracker since that is more common. Remember, Wikipedia is not a dictionary, and sometimes we need to make more-or-less arbitrary decisions about article titles. After all, they're also used for lobsters. --Macrakis (talk) 19:10, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
