Spelling inconsistency[edit]

The article title has nubuck, but throughout the body, it has been spelled nubuk. Why is this? In fact, I'm having trouble finding the nubuk spelling except in this article. I'm going to be bold and replace it, and if someone has good reason, change it back or post something in the discussion explaining this odd spelling. Is it made from animal skin?[edit]

The article could do more to make it clear whether nubuck is actual animal skin (and what animal?) processed in a particular way, or artificial leather like Skivertex.   Maproom (talk) 08:47, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
