Dave Duell and 'Akron' Arlen Vanke do not yet have pages created on them. Dave Duell was a Super Stock Champ in the 60s, and is regarded as the "Father" of NSS drag racing. He died in 2005, and the largest annual NSS event (draws 75 plus cars) at the Monster Mopar Weekend in St. Louis is named in his honor -- the Dave Duell Classic. While Akron Arlen Vanke is still alive (at this date) and living in Arizona, he was in the 60s in a very elite small group of the Best 4-speed Super Stock Racers. Pages for these very popular drag racers from the 1960s should be created.

A more complete rules citation can be obtained from the NSS Racing site -- http://www.nssracing.com/rules/

The biggest of all NSS events is the Dave Duell Classic, which is also referred to as the NSS Nats. A page was started at Dave Duell Classic, but a little more professional help could be used on that page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TexasWhale (talkcontribs) 15:36, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
