Lead imagery[edit]

Observing some chatter on Ritchie's talk page, I just took a quick look. The lead picture seemed weak so I have tried an alternative which highlights the fact that it is actually an avenue and also shows some other characteristic details, like the 91 bus and the ornate street light. I notice that there isn't an infobox unlike, say, Trafalgar Square and Strand. Infoboxes seem quite suitable for streets as they would be a good place to put stats like the dimensions, numbering, postcode, &c. Is this in dispute? Andrew D. (talk) 12:39, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In this specific instance, an infobox might add value with a map, but the result would occupy too much space on screen and collide with some of the images below it. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:52, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I take your point as the article has a good number of images and it always seems tricky them to position when you have so many. But, as you're doing these as a set for the Monopoly list, it might look good if there's some uniformity. It would be cute to have an infobox with some style elements from the Monopoly card, like the colour stripe. But custom colours, like infoboxes, cause too much excitement, I suppose. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew Davidson (talkcontribs)
They cause so much "excitement" we even have an essay about them. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:40, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
