This article does not cite any sources or provide external links. I believe some of the data included to be false. Such as the statement that two silver mines had been operated on the mountain. The geology of the area does NOT have any silver deposits, and never did. The only mineral(s) of note on the mountain are of the famous zeolite group of minerals found in gas pockets in the lava flows. Another error is the statement that the lava flows are basalt. This is a common misconception, as the flows are of a similar type of rock, called Shoshonite, which has a higher feldspar content than basalt. I am also very suspicious of the statement that at one point a shopping center and trailer park were considered for contruction on the mountain. Once again, there are no sources cited to confirm these "facts." I have also been on the mountain numerous times and have never encountered this so-called hollow center of the mountain.

The historical and geological content of this article is not backed up by verifiable sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joshuahicks (talkcontribs) 21:57, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
