Regeneration[edit]

Added a section on the regeneration and re mediation of the former coal field areas, as a balance to the negative image left by the coal closure section. The district has moved on, there are still problems. the new jobs are lower grade, but we have had EEC grants and the site are not derelict wastelands any more (most of them).

So feel free to build on this section and move it forward positively. (could do with links to article about the relevant projects and the EEC funding or 'East Midlands Development Agency' perhaps,)? Help - BulldozerD11 (talk) 11:04, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
