Mingo's media[edit]

The biography is ambiguous in declaring that Mingo's Neuman portraits (at least after his 1962 return to Mad) were done in watercolor and acrylic paints and then calling them "executed in gouache." Did he change over, did he variably use all three media, does gouache here merely refer to his preferred watercolor medium ("opaque watercolor") , did he sign with an ichthys only his Neuman portraits done in gouache, or does the description err? Anyhow the media he used ought to be listed in one place unless they changed over time. Mucketymuck (talk) 21:54, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

for real?![edit]

And all these years from the late '50s on I always thought "Norman Mingo" was a fake name in parody of Norman Rockwell! --Thnidu (talk) 19:06, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
