Nordbury?[edit]

I lived in Norbury for twenty years since my birth and never once heard it referred to "Nordbury". Maybe this is its historical name, but is not used officially or otherwise. Monkeyspearfish (talk) 14:21, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's because somebody made it up - well spotted, removed. Kbthompson (talk) 15:53, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

The picture of the church doesn't really feel like it sums up Norbury. A more appropriate picture might be something like Norbury Station, or one of the High Street?

Agree. I've done something about it. GrindtXX (talk) 22:34, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The bar/restaurant in the picture, whilst lovely, unfortunately doesn't exist anymore - also from my experience (having lived nearby for my whole life) the most commonly-visited and well-known part of Norbury is on the north side, near the station and park. I feel like a picture of somewhere up there (the entrance to the park, the station entrance opposite, or perhaps the railway bridge over the main road) would be a more suitable image.
