Photo Request[edit]

Panoramio have 2 photos of the Nkandla homestead: http://www.panoramio.com/photo/84617082 & http://www.panoramio.com/photo/84956534 They are currently licensed as CC by-nd 3.0 -- Firefishy (talk) 10:19, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I hope I did that right. Wizzy 11:17, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No, the licence was incorrect. I have corrected it, but CC-BY-ND isn't an acceptable licence for wikipedia. I have emailed the author asking if he would be willing to re-licence. -- Firefishy (talk) 14:49, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The author responded to say that wikipedia may use the photo. He has not said under what licence. I will ask him. --Firefishy (talk) 00:09, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Author kindly re-licenced the photo as CC-BY-SA 3.0. I have added it. --Firefishy (talk) 13:29, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Amazing find, thanks to you both, and to the creator of course!--eh bien mon prince (talk) 01:18, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Split article[edit]

Most of this article is actually about Zuma's homestead and not about the town of Nkandla. Perhaps we should have a separate article about the homestead and its controversy, given that it's not even in the town? - htonl (talk) 11:07, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with this proposal.Blarcrean (talk) 17:08, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, it seems that this proposal was implemented with the creation of Nkandla (homestead). Samsara 15:47, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
