Birth date[edit]

Russian WP has the following note:

«Русский биографический словарь» даёт день рождения 3 (15) июня 1821 года, на могильном памятнике указано: 31 мая (12 июня) 1821.

My translation:

The Russian Biographical Dictionary gives the date of birth as 3 (15) June 1821. On his gravestone the date 31 May (12 June) 1821 is shown.

Russian WP prefers the date in the RBD. We prefer the gravestone date. I think we should go by the most accurate information in reliable publications, rather than gravestone inscriptions, whose inaccuracies are legion.
