Dai-Gohonzon[edit]

I removed the part saying Nikko protected the Dai-Gohonzon. There was no citation given, it was written as fact, and the Dai-Gohonzon is disputed. Steve (talk) 21:17, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've added some info on Nikko's early life, and broken the article down into sections. Steve (talk) 21:17, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Article is biased[edit]

This article is heavely if not completely biased by Nichiren Shoshu views. It is important to note that Nikko is not the founder of Nichiren Shoshu only but also of two other separate schools of Nichiren Buddhism and of the Nikko linages within Nichiren Shu. The whole article should be rewritten to be more objective and accurate towards historical facts. Gonzalopena25 (talk) 04:01, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There aren't a lot of people working on these articles, and there are some obvious problems with lack of expertise and non-native English with the existing texts. Perhaps there is less of a problem with bias than there is with just a lack of people volunteering to do this work. PeepleLikeYou (talk) 23:45, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why omit the kanji for shonin?[edit]

In the text the title 上人 is omitted from the Japanese text for some reason, won't this confuse people? PeepleLikeYou (talk) 12:32, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please at least write correct English[edit]

Regarding this edit conflict:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nikk%C5%8D_Sh%C5%8Dnin&curid=526131&diff=925932705&oldid=925903284

I don't offer an opinion on which version is better factually, but could you please at least write correct English?

Thanks. PeepleLikeYou (talk) 23:51, 14 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody else seems to care about this so I've reverted to the last version to be written in grammatical English. PeepleLikeYou (talk) 13:33, 16 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
