"more than 300 published wuxia and science fiction novels and more than 400 film scripts." Both of these awesome numbers demand documentation...his imdb credits are numerous, but not 400. Bustter (talk) 06:25, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Fist of Fury has one writer credit: Wei Lo. Fist of Fury, its sequels, and the other films featuring the character Chen Zen show no Ni Kuang writing credit. If h did this work uncredited or as a ghost writr, we need that stated and documented.

It looks like some self-designated expert on the topic is contributing their own conception of "facts." In Wikipedia fact are only accepted as such when they derive from reliable sources.

I'll leave this unedited for now, but will be adding a template demanding sources next time I am through here. Bustter (talk) 06:39, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, but you have to realise that iMDb is a pretty poor source for Chinese films. The vast majority of them have no entry in iMDb. I suspect that the only sources we would be able to use would be in Chinese. It's something I'll maybe take a look at when I'm really bored one day. But I do agree that it should be sourced. I do note the Chinese version of this article list many of his books, but the sources for his published works are printed books, so those would be difficult to use here.Kodabar (talk) 17:44, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What's going on?[edit]

Why are his works predominantly listed in Chinese, when this is the English wikipedia? Editrite! (talk) 22:10, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling of his name[edit]

While the Chinese government-sponspred English-language press invariably stick with the Pinyin spelling, is there any reliable and impartial, neutral source to prove that this is indeed the spelling used by this person himself, given that his son goes by the spelling Nieh and his sister Nee for the surname? 14.0.231.110 (talk) 09:01, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
