King of Annam in 939?[edit]

If Annam (Chinese province) says that Annam ceased to exist in 939, how could Ngo Quyen have been proclaimed king of Annam in 939? Badagnani (talk) 22:54, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why do we use the title Ngô Quyền instead of Wu Quan?[edit]

Is it really proper to consider Wu Quan (Ngô Quyền) as Vietnamese instead of Chinese?
