Cider[edit]

Is there a reason the name of the "major brand of cider" from New York is not given? phreakydancin (talk) 21:35, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Often company names are omitted to avoid advertising them. It is interesting that a company name is used in the very next sentence. It is possible that the "major brand" in New York does not have an article? Apteva (talk) 23:00, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The major brand is Martinelli; whoever stuck the subsequent line assumed that because they are based in California, the New York reference had to be to a different brand. But the NYT article referenced is clear. I'll straighten this out over the weekend. Mangoe (talk) 11:57, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I found a link to the NYT article mentioned and feel like I made the clarification desired. So I'll call this tentatively DONE -- B.S. Lawrence (talk) 23:21, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
