Question[edit]

Except for they're supposed to use more energy and produce more CO2 than if that plastic was made from oil the "traditional way". It's a feel good scam, virtue signaling BS and should not have a neutral Wiki entry. Period. Basic chemistry debunks this fake narrative.

Please edit accordingly or just remove. This IS new age propaganda.

Chemist known as "Thunderfoot" on youtube debunks this whole thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzq9yPE5Cbo — Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.18.93.198 (talk) 08:45, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In response to the above comment about the "Thunderf00t" debunking, he did add the caveat that "Unless it is made from methane in a bioreactor". The wikipedia page now admits to Newlight using a bioreactor to source the methane. So "Aircarbon" does not come from the air. The company's press release videos and interviews were exceptionally misleading bordering on fraud. 129.22.1.19 (talk) 20:01, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
