Will review in a moment. Sticky Parkin 00:06, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Easily passes the quick fail criteria, no problem. Will work some more now. Sticky Parkin 00:24, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does that it mean it quick-failed or that it is not gonna be?Mitch32(UP) 00:29, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It means it's not going to be lol sorry, hence I'm doing more:) Sticky Parkin 00:32, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seems to rely a lot on one source in the Route description and Pennsylvania to Buffalo Buffalo to Avon Avon to Ontario County Western Ontario County and Canandaigua area and Canandaigua to Auburn sections. (Is this a map?) I'd like to see more, and more diverse references in these sections, it would look less like WP:OR- not saying it is as such, but refs always look good.:) (bear in mind this is my first GA review). The section Expressway relocations at the end is referenced in a way and to an extent I like. Language is a bit flowery and ORish, such as "as it heads through spacious fields containing little more than farmland" It might be true but who else in WP:RS has said it? This is not a travel guide, for bits like that perhaps add more refs. It also says things like "this road is still important" -this might be obvious but a ref would still be good.

Pics are fine- nice diagrams, but you could put a photo in the bottom third of the article, at any point after "History", and you could put one between the two existing pics- the skyway and the "US 20, NY 5 and NY 414 in Seneca Falls." This is simply because the subject is not that gripping without pics- I bet what the place looks like is what's important to you too, to an extent. You could even put a pic to illustrate thhe fields/farmland mentioned above.

In the Utica to Albany section, it says "cuts south for a little ways". We wouldn't say this in UK English, this grammar, and I'm not sure if it is formal written English, so you might want to rewrite any bits which are like that. "A half-mile from the start of the bypass"- I'm not sure whether I would say that either, but that one's not quite as odd and probably subjective.

None of these are a fail-- this is a pass, I'm just giving you these as extra suggestions.:) Sticky Parkin 01:13, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! When I bring this for A-class review , I'll make sure its got those. Also, remember to update the certain pages for GA reviewing.Mitch32(UP) 01:19, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh and- you only put one space after a period, don't you?- I always put two, that's what we were told at school/uni.:) Sticky Parkin
I've heard both ways, so I really don't know.Mitch32(UP) 01:24, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
