Ownership[edit]

The Green is described as a "privately owned park" and, later, "[it] is a traditional town green (commons)." Aren't these descriptions mutually exclusive? I don't know the current status of New Haven Green, but I don't think it can be both common property of the town and privately owned. Adronson (talk) 18:09, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Number of bodies[edit]

I tagged the phrase "between 5,000 to 10,000" as needing a citation. It seems unreasonably large, especially since The Smithsonian magazine says that historians believe "over 1,000" bodies were buried there.[1] If no one comes up with a citation, I will change it and cite The Smithsonian. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:55, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
