Untitled[edit]

I have created this article to describe the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The largest facility of its type in New England, it hosts dozens of large hockey tournaments each year, as well as Boston Bruins Alumni games, charity events, and figure skating competitions. This article could use a lot of help reference-wise, and a few links to the various ISI and USFC events wouldn't hurt at all. TreacherousWays (talk) 23:41, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As a side note, I work at this facility and have insider knowledge that I can't always attribute to a reliable source. I hope that other editors will have the time and energy to add references that I haven't found, as well as references that contradict what I may be mistaken about. My long-term hope is to provide a description of this specific facility (which is a significant local landmark) and a more general "how-it-works" for year-round ice-skating venues. I see this article as a primer for individuals who would like to work at or manage a facility like this, as well as a general source of information for communities or individuals that are considering building ice rinks. Comments[edit]

After allowing plenty of time for emotional distance, I think that this article would benefit from editing of prose. I am unhappy with the tone of the article, as well; some of it sounds like ad copy. TreacherousWays (talk) 13:26, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
