Eliminated Weasel Words and added References[edit]

I have reworded the entire article because of the weasel wording, and added references I could find. Pythang 19:15, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It should be much more wikified now.

Added some complementary district information, all gathered by my personal experience in the NWN 1 campaign I have played several times. I would however like someone to add more information to this section, or if possible, rewrite my phrases so they are better stated.Pythang 19:15, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

tag-happy[edit]

seems we have an over-zealous tagger. This kind of stuff makes articles unreadable and is like a cancer on Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Claytonian (talkcontribs) 01:46, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you've noted a host-body's reaction to a disease. Jack Merridew 10:39, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but a reaction so big it should be called an auto-immune disease. Like allergies or diabetes, this is immune, but not good. (See User:Shanes/Why tags are evil). Pro bug catcher (talkcontribs). 11:11, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Per a request on my talk page: The reason why I tagged this article are as follows.

Most parts of this article (basically, everything except the introductory paragraphs) are an in-universe description of the fictional city, or in other words, they consist of plot summary; and the sources cited are largely the original works of fiction. However, this is not appropriate on Wikipedia per WP:NOT#PLOT. Wikipedia's coverage should focus on out-of-universe aspects of the topic (if any exist), as reported in reliable sources.

On the other hand, what is lacking is coverage of this fictional city (not of the games it's described in) in independent sources, which would go beyond re-iterating the plot. This is what is required per WP:N, and what the article should be written on. Actually, I found only one piece of information to that end in the article: It's the reference to Neverwinter Nights (AOL game) and its significance for the development of role-playing games (this is unsourced by the way). However, this aspect is already adequately covered in Neverwinter Nights (AOL game) and does not warrant a separate article on the city.

So, in short, I doubt that a separate article on the city is warranted per Wikipedia's inclusion guideline. --B. Wolterding (talk) 10:42, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
