Untitled[edit]

There are a few uncited facts on here. I am assuming they are actually coming from the article linked at the bottom, but I didn't check. I will read the article soon and determine if it can be cited for the missing citations. Otherwise, I will look for more outside sources. Jomoh001 (talk) 20:56, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

highly possible typo from the source article[edit]

In section Neurite Development second paragraph, it contains the a sourced sentence: "Tau proteins can aid in the stabilization of microtubules by binding to the microtubules, protecting them from microtubule serving proteins.[6]". This sentence likely contains a typo because there is no such protein as microtubule serving protein, and also it would not make sense if microtubule needs to be protected from its serving protein. The correct protein should be microtubule severing protein which is regulated by Tau protein(source:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6674103/).

I have changed it now, but if anyone disagrees they are welcomed to discuss
