[Untitled][edit]

This page is an advertisement for a single paper. A paper that is quite controversial and not yet accepted. For example, Liu, et al are far from the first to study structural controllability of directed graphs (Barabasi is famous for poorly reviewing the literature). I would recommend either adding references to previous work (where more general theorems have been derived not only for directed graphs, of which Liu is a special case, but also for manifolds) to make the article more balanced, or --- given that it is an orphan --- simply deleting the article entirely.

I would tend to agree, this is an advertisement for a single paper. Rhodydog (talk) 23:22, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, it is obvious that the original version created by the User "YangLiu61" seems like an unabashed advertisement of the paper of Yang-Yu Liu, J-J Slotine and A.-L. Barabasi and badly abuses the freedom that Wikipedia presents to its users. No doubt, the first user spoke of deleting this work! I agree that this is the treatment which must be meted out for such brazen self-advertisement. I am new to writing in Wikipedia and tried to improve this article by searching recent articles from Google Scholar and Arxiv that cite this paper. Hopefully it is much more balanced and neutral now. I wish I knew enough about the field so as to include the work that the first user writes about (regarding manifolds etc.) 18:06, 2 October 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.163.36.89 (talk)

Agreed, is just plain advertisement for one paper, even though the content is interesting, it should be reworked... 129.132.159.36 (talk) 18:31, 30 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
