The Big Four[edit]

In the 'dual affiliates' section, it states: 'fewer hours of prime time programming than the "Big Four" networks' and 'historically the "Big Four" have had dual-affiliate stations'.

I've got three: NBC, ABC and CBS, but I can't think of the fourth, can someone enlighten me; also, it might be better to mention the four in the article RASAM (talk) 14:34, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

National Broadcasting Company is not currently one of the top-three US commercial broadcasters, despite a historically long-dominant position which dates back to the mainstream days of network radio. Redirect to what[edit]

Why does affiliate redirect here! In the real world (eg not the US) this is irrelevant. Even in the US, this is a secondary, derived meaning of the word.
