I'm not disputing this, but I do want understand the sources and logic as this is new information. This article has had the section for "Descendants": "Nest's daughter, Angharad, married William de Barry and had by him four sons: Robert; Philip, the founder of Ballybeg Abbey at Buttevant in Ireland; Walter; the historian Gerald of Wales."

In August of 2008, WALL1FER apparently added information: "Robert and Philip were the founders of the family Walsh/Welsh of Kilkenny.."

I've read in several places that Philip Walsh/Welsh/Brennaugh was founder of the Walsh of the Mountain clan of County Kilkenny, Ireland and also that Philip was a descendant of Nest, but exact linkage was not known. The August addition expresses an exact linkage saying the Philip, son of William de Barry, is Philip Walsh. How do we know this linkage?
