Cultural Adaptations...[edit]

Please mention Aretha Franklin's triumphant performance at the Grammys, where she replaced Pavoratti at the last minute. She was not expected to sing the same song that Pavoratti was supposed to sing. The performance was historic, and it was the reason why Jennifer Hudson chose to sing that song with the NY Philharmonic. She was starring in the Aretha Franklin biopic "Aretha", and undoubtedly used the performance for publicity and as a push toward Oscar (and other awards) recognition. It's disrespectful to mention Jennifer's performance and not mention Aretha's. 2605:A601:A606:A100:3AFD:C8A9:1755:86B9 (talk) 15:28, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

She performed Nessun Dorma again in Philadelphia when Pope Francis came to visit in 2015. 68.41.83.40 (talk) 19:23, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've seen it mentioned in youtube comments that Aretha performed a parody version of Nessun Dorma at a charity roast with Pavarotti as the guest of honor just a few days before her performance on the Grammys, but I can't confirm it. 68.41.83.40 (talk) 23:07, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Note Octaves[edit]

The article refers to the musical notes B4 and A4. However, those octave numbers are incorrect. Middle C is C4. The C an octave above that is C5. The two notes in question should be named as B5 and A5 (NOT B4 and A4). 96.231.179.8 (talk) 16:24, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy of translation[edit]

The English translation of the lyrics contains:

Could someone please help confirm the accuracy of the translation of "No, no!"? It's not clear what it means here. I mean, because he will say it, the "No, no!" seems to be self-contradictory. --Matt Smith (talk) 03:11, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
