Commander in chief[edit]

Need Gurkha Army redirected[edit]

Stop changing the small arms![edit]

The 500 SCAR-Hs are used by special protection units as well as some of the soldiers in the Ranger Regiment and Paratroopers due to an agreement with the US and Belgian military, STOP CHANGING THIS! Strict joining policy?[edit]

I've placed a [not specific enough to verify] tag on the statement "Unlike other military forces around the world, the Nepalese Army has a very strict joining policy". Can anyone explain what this is supposed to mean? I'd think that most military forces would say they have strict joining policies - it is possible that the Nepalese one is uniquely strict in some way, but this isn't detailed anywhere in the article or any source given. Nepal army[edit]

The Nepali Army (Nepali: नेपाली सेना, romanized: Nēpālī Sēnā), also referred as the Gorkhali Army (गोरखाली सेना, Gōrakhālī Sēnā; see Gorkhas), is the land service branch of the Nepali Armed Forces. After the Gorkha Kingdom was founded in 1559, its army was established in 1560, and was accordingly known as the Gorkhali Army. The army later became known as the Royal Nepali Army (RNA) following the Unification of Nepal, when the Gorkha Kingdom expanded its territory to include the whole country, by conquering and annexing the other states in the region, resulting in the establishment of a single united Hindu monarchy over all of Nepal.
