Disputed[edit]

Yes, Neil and Norm are brothers. Neil wrote an article for the CBC on Aug 30, 2016 confirming this fact.

The proper spelling of his name, according to cbc.ca is "Macdonald". The heading on this article, and throughout the entire entry on his brother Norm, Macdonald is mispelled as MacDonald. It will take an admin to fix the entry headline. Alaric the Goth 00:30, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Has been accused of"[edit]

Hiding the actual identity of the critics behind a passive-voice formulation gives them far more weight than they deserve. The idea that calling Aish HaTorah's Canada branch "right wing jews" is somehow offensive is silly. Nobody bats an eye at Sikh groups complaining about pro-India bias being identified as Sikhs, or left-wingers complaining about anti-Hugo-Chavez bias being identified as left-wingers, etc. I am simply trying to give some more information about where these accusations are coming from. <eleland/talkedits> 01:17, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Two Factual Errors[edit]

Neil Macdonald wrote an article for the CBC on May 07, 2019 where he says there are two factual errors in his wikipedia page ... "My Wikipedia entry, not written by me, contains two factual errors.". He did not identify the actual errors. The source says: "Prior to that he was the CBC's Washington correspondent for 12 years, and before that he spent five years reporting from the Middle East." If he was a journalist for years, we can describe him as a journalist. – Þjarkur (talk) 22:17, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind that opinion columnists are still journalists anyway. Chantal Hébert, frex, is still a journalist, John Ibbitson is still a journalist, Andrew Coyne is still a journalist, and on and so forth.
