Section Basque influence too general, not about the band[edit]
The intro states "it is impossible to separate the band from its political ideology and its identification with the Basque Country and its language". Agreed. However, I don't think this justifies the elaborate description of the suppression of Basque identity as it is written now. This part might belong in an article about Basque identity, history, or politics, but not (in this extensive form) in an article about a band. No matter how close the relation between the band and Basque identity is. So I took the liberty of pruning parts of the section "The Music and Basque Nationalism", while hopefully still leaving enough of it intact to emphasize the strong bond between Negu Gorriak and Basque identity.
Renamed the section to "Basque nationalism and other influences". MichielN (talk) 20:54, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
