Mistake![edit]

The redirect here is a mistake. The Rebis is a well-known mythological being, and actually the Spanish article on it is pretty good. Motion: Change title to "Larry Trainor"[edit]

In the original 1960s Doom Patrol comic, the term "Negative Man" was used to refer to the radio-energy being that dwelled within Larry Trainor's body, and which he could send out to perform super-heroic deeds. While the in-universe general public thought of Trainor as "Negative Man," Larry knew better and didn't like it. He in fact complained about being called by that name, considered it playing second fiddle to the other entity (frequently called "Neg Man" for short). There is no question whatsoever in my mind that this article should be entitled "Larry Trainor." The section "Negative Man II" here is no justification otherwise, as according to that very text, it was just a nickname ascribed to a member of the DP's fourth incarnation, Ted Bruder aka Fast Forward, due to "his incessantly pessimistic outlook." It was not at all his code name, he was not another superhero of that name, and the item qualifies as no more than a footnote to the story of Larry Trainor.

Concerning the radio-energy entity itself, the article says, "the being, also referred to as Negative Man, or, later, as the Negative Spirit...." and uses that phrase most frequently thereafter. Aside from the fact that "also" dubiously refers to Larry, I have a question: Where does "the Negative Spirit" term come from? Come to think of it, I am going to put up a cite request there as soon as I'm done here. We might make a separate article under the name "Negative Man" (with the text intro acknowledging the "Woman" form)—or "Negative Spirit" if that can be verified as a significant in-universe usage—about the energy being, from Trainor to Vostok (BTW, nobody here seems to have known that she started out without radioactivity or bandages and transformed into "Negative Woman" herself at will; I have made some edits to that effect). Shocking Blue[edit]

Is there any relationship between Larry Trainor and Johnny Quick's Lightening Bolt Jeenie (Jiin)? The two seems similar, and it would be fascianting if the two encountered each other; from "Golden Age" to "Silver Age" protagonists. Also, what if there is a link between these two "electric personalities" and Captain Marvel and Balck Adam, since sans Trainor' entity, all the above are ancient powers?
