Adviser to Costello's government ?[edit]

The article currently says "The Taoiseach John A. Costello invited him back to serve as an adviser to the government but he died on the trip over", which can't be right. Ned Cronin apparently died in 1946, Costello only became Taoiseach in 1948, and he wasn't leader of the opposition, so any invitation to Cronin couldn't have been made in the (very optimistic) anticipation of leading the government after the next election. Either the date of death is wrong, or it wasn't Costello who invited Cronin back to Ireland.

There's a reference to a book by Tim Pat Coogan given for that sentence, but I don't have access to that right now and currently I don't have the time for further research.
