nawab mohammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai is senator in the Upper House of the Parliament of Pakistan for the term 2003-2009, and a member of the Pashtoonnationalist Pakhtun-khwa Milli Awami Party(PKMAP) party.[1][2]. He comes from theBalochistan province.[3]He is the convener of 'Pakhtoon Ulasi Qaumi Jirga' (Pashtoon National Council).[4] The Jirga was held in March 1998 attended by the majority of tribal elders throughout West and North Pakhtoonkhwa.He also participated in Peace Jirga, commissioned by President Hamid Karzai in August 200.[5] In Kabul, Asfand Yar Wali Khan, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai and President Karzai had a series of meetings to discuss Pakhtoon unity.
