Nauga myth[edit]

 – Section heading added by Undead Shambles (talk) 22:48, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So was the existence of a marketing campain citing the 'nauga' is an urban myth? Could this be proven by citing a marketing person from Uniroyal. Given how recent this was, shouldn't be to hard to find out.

By coincidence I've just rewritten this. The original wording implied that the marketing campaign itself became a myth, rather than the campaign's claim that the material came from the hide of the Nauga. The campaign was real; the Nauga was myth. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 20:20, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

song references[edit]

I've removed all but the first one, which ties into the point about the nauga and the marketing campaign. I didn't see the point of the other ones. Loggie (talk) 12:21, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

editor: Is there a policy...[edit]

When Naugahyde was developed, in the nineteen-thirties, the company's name was US Rubber. Is there a policy on making references to a company's name agree with the current-day name? Rainbow-five (talk) 02:02, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How big was a roll?[edit]

The main page of this article would be improved if there were a discussion about the cost of a yard of naugahyde compared to a comparable amount of real leather. And how many yards could you buy when it first came out? Two hundred yards? Dexter Nextnumber (talk) 05:58, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
