outline of development section[edit]

Good to see some energy going into this page! I think excising the Fichte sentences, especially the first ("The German Idealist philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte had attempted to show that the whole structure of reality follows necessarily from the fact of self-consciousness"), from this section, leaves the rest of the section unclear to anyone who doesn't already know the context. I don't myself understand the reference to "the aesthetic view of nature to which Immanuel Kant's Critique of Judgment had pointed". The reference to Schelling's "earliest writings" seems insufficiently specific, and could do with some chapter and verse.Dsp13 (talk) 00:45, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
