Garbage managemnt in Italy[edit]

I think that we should explain the situation in Italy, where many cities have serious problems with garbage.

Photo[edit]

The Italian wiki article has several photos that would be a great addition to this article. Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 08:36, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Piles of garbage lining a street in Pozzuoli, Province of Naples (January 2008)

This is was a major news story both within Italy and internationally. The implications of the story arise from the historical importance of Mafiosa type organisations and the lessons from this period remain relevant today.
