The term is Nappa leather not Napa leather. AND, Nappa leather is a fine leather made from animal skin, not synthetic as mentioned here.

Napa/Nappa confusion[edit]

information provided here about term Nappa is not accurate. Napa and Nappa are common spelling variations of the same thing, which is chrome tanned supple leather.
