Molecular propeller[edit]

It is unclear to me how a molecular propeller could influence motion of this alleged car in solution. Don't you mean a molecular motor of some kind? Are there references to this or are you making this up? Chemical formula[edit]

From this picture it seems to me that the chemical formula is C310H36. Does the nanocar (or do the multiple different nanocars) have CAS registry numbers? Icek (talk) 04:40, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Title of the article[edit]

Nanocar has become a term for all kind of molecules. See Nanocar Race. Maybe this article should be renamed to something different. Options are Rice nanocar, Nanodragster or Nanocar 1 as in the paper. ReyHahn (talk) 22:59, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
