Weak references[edit]

The references at the moment are:

   * recently found inscriptions by ASI
   * Bahur, kasakudi, udieyendiram and tadantottam plates of Nandi varman
   * Hymns of alwar saints

Better references are needed. Salilb (talk) 12:43, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uses peacock terms to describe the person of interest.[edit]

The article uses many peacock terms to describe the historical figure in question. Also the references are not verifiable. "recently found inscriptions by ASI" cannot be listed as a source. It does not have a link. Unclear information, the term "Previous mentioned enemy" is used multiple times, yet no specific information is provided on the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.119.207.66 (talk) 07:00, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why the foreign tour by officials?[edit]

It is hard to believe that the ministers and officials could not find someone in the kingdom. I mean could they not find one, just one legitimate heir locally to ascend the throne? Looks like they had to find a reason to go on vacation to Bali, Thailand and other hot spots. On a more serious note, apart from traditional accounts, are there any epigraphs that record that the sovereign was born abroad? Nittawinoda (talk) 17:47, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
