Image:Nancydetail.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Helpful to create a table?

I'm not sure if this is commonly done in other comics, but would it be helpful to create a table of artists/creators of the comics, and dates from which they drew the comic? ChunyangD (talk) 20:10, 1 December 2018 (UTC)

Gilchrist

I removed a portion of a line referring to Gilchrist's art style:

In 1995, Guy and Brad Gilchrist were given control of the strip, returning the artwork to its traditional style; Guy Gilchrist subsequently became the sole author and illustrator.

The closest thing to support for this statement the citation gives is the line:

the new team, Guy and Brad Gilchrist, drew their inspiration straight from Bushmiller — even to the point of re-using many of the earlier cartoonist's gags.

This doesn't specify his art style. A Vox article openly disputes the notion[1]:

Guy Gilchrist eventually took over the strip solo, but his tenure was disastrous for the strip, as it tried to replicate Bushmiller’s punchlines without understanding his style in the slightest — where Bushmiller was minimalist, Gilchrist larded the strip up with extraneous flourishes.

A comparison of a Bushmiller strip with a Gilchrist strip make it clear the art styles are very different. Maybe that's "original research", but at any rate, since the statement was not supported by the link cited and is disputed by a notable/reputable source, I have removed it. -Literally Satan (talk) 22:24, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
