The result of the move request was: No consensus to move this page. The common name is "organisation". There are facebook pages with both spellings. Anarchyte (work | talk) 10:16, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Namibia National Students OrganisationNamibia National Students Organization – With both spelling variants, "organisation" as well as "organization", being prevalent in Namibian society, this particular organization itself uses the "z" spelling. WP:RETAIN isn't applicable here, as the spelling of the organization's actual name isn't at the discretion of this article's editors, so a matter of empirical evidence rather than convention. • Tentative support: This may be an obvious case where the WP:OFFICIALNAME is what should be used, absent any evidence that the common name is overwhelmingly against the origani[z|s]ation's own actual name. If there's corroborating evidence of the z spelling, then this is clearly fallout from someone incorrectly applying Commonwealth spelling to every African article they can find, unaware that American English has long had a foothold in the African continent (via Liberia, since the 1800s), reinforced by modern ESL programs in many places around the world strongly shifting toward AmEng. That said, I would like to see more evidence. The nom actually seems to have gotten this same thing wrong at the related RM at Talk:National Unity Democratic Organisation, relying on a third party rather than the actual organization for how it spells its name.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  09:54, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The nom is using a Facebook page to support their move proposal. Yet another Facebook page of the group uses the "organisation" spelling. Given the nom was wrong about the National Unity Democratic Organisation I would therefore cautiously oppose this nomination. Searches for Namibia National Students Organization produce 871 results. Searches for Namibia National Students Organisation produce 4,080 results. AusLondonder (talk) 20:04, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Namibia National Students Organisation's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "auto":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:17, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
